Your data belongs to you. You can export everything (portfolio, assignments, time logs) as JSON or PDF anytime. If you close your account, your data remains available for 90 days before deletion. No lock-in.

Is my portfolio data secure and private?

Your portfolio is stored on Azure in Sweden (Sweden Central) and is never shared with third parties. I follow GDPR and take data security seriously – because I'm a freelancer myself and know how sensitive client information can be.

Do I need to be technical to use this?

No. If you can use Google Docs or LinkedIn, you can use Semodo Career. The AI handles the complexity – you just add project descriptions in plain language, and it handles the structuring and summarization.

How is this different from LinkedIn?

LinkedIn is for networking and job searching. Semodo Career is your personal career database – designed for freelancers who need detailed project tracking, time reporting, broker relationship management, and pitch-ready CVs. Think of it as your private portfolio system that feeds into LinkedIn, not replaces it.

What if I have 20 years of career history?

Perfect. Semodo Career handles portfolios of any size. You can bulk import from old CVs (paste raw text), and the AI will extract projects, dates, and technologies. Then it deduplicates and structures everything automatically. The more data, the better insights.

Does this work in Swedish, or only English?

Currently the AI works best in English, but it handles Swedish very well. I'm focusing on Swedish and international freelancers working in English, which is why the interface is in English. A Swedish interface and full Swedish AI support is planned and based on user feedback.
